Hand Tools specifically for Law Enforcement Breaching
This is tough shit ! Manufactured to withstand the breaching of the toughest doors in the toughest city in America. Drop-Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using localized compressive forces. The blows are delivered with a power hammer. Drop-Forging produces a piece that is stronger than an equivalent cast or machined part. As the metal is shaped during the forging process, its internal grain deforms to follow the general shape of the part. As a result, the grain is continuous throughout the part, giving rise to a piece with improved strength characteristics.
Rapid Entry Through almost any door where brute force is called for and warranted. The Sledge has a bracket intended to slip over the Adz head or the accompanying Pro-Bar. Easy storage in the truck, behind the seat or in the tools compartment of your SWAT truck or van.
HYDRA-RAM II "RABBIT TOOL" Made for us by the original manufacturer of the man-portable, one man-operated self contained hydraulic entry door breaching tool.
"Halligan" a small gap between the door frame and the in-swinging door, brace this 14lb Hydraulic work horse's specially hardened stainless steel teeth into that gap and pump up to 10,000 pounds of force against the door and whatever is securing it closed.
With only one pump, you move the ram 3/4" up to 4" of spread. Reset with a spacer for wider pushes.
All it's seals are triplex quality integral aircraft rated and the body is hard anodized for long life in the roughest work environment.

Mechanical Breaching: When learning correct methods for using the ram, Halligan and sledgehammer, tactics become a parallel focus with tools. The placement of cover men is incorporated to provide cross coverage for the breacher. Cover men adjust their positions as the breacher maneuvers, remembering that “their feet aren’t planted in concrete.” The second protocol is that the breacher owns the obstacle until it is completely open. This prevents the stack from crowding the opening if the initial breach is incomplete. It also allows the breacher room to provide a final shove or kick if needed. Once the breach is complete, the breacher calls, “Open!” and the stack proceeds. This process proves straightforward with a smooth transition to room clearing.
Bottom Line: This is a skill set that MUST be continuously practiced. Entry barring methods change all the time; contingency plans MUST always be preplanned.
